I downloaded an ISO image of a linux distribution - at least I thought so. When I tried to boot from it a virtual machine, it said "no no"... The file was corrupt. I confirmed it by running a md5sum and checking against the published sums. What happened I think is that I was downloading a daily build from the "current" folder of the mirror. In the mean time, the new daily build was made the "current" one and hence I was suddenly downloading a different file without the download manager...

	This is going to be a long story. You want to get internet-connected in Ethiopia right? Most likely a Faranji like me who speaks no word of Amharic! I think I can spare you some running around. If you take a look at the "official" Ethio Telecom website, you get the hint - this is the only company doing internet in this country. Though you'll find some info inthere, it's kinda cryptic. Nowhere can you find the GSM/GPRS/CDMA/EVDO network coverage. Nowhere can you find how much of your download...

Thanks to him I've experienced things I thought I'd never do in my life - unforgettable memories. In other words.. It's WORTH to trust this guy :) Curious about everything. Even if it means swimming by himself into the caves to have a look at the corals. I can only say... terribly recommended !!

	There's a race of men that don't fit in,
	A race that can't stay still;
	So they break the hearts of kith and kin,
	And they roam the world at will.
	They range the field and they rove the flood,
	And they climb the mountain's crest;
	Theirs is the curse of the gypsy blood,
	And they don't know how to rest.

	If they just went straight they might go far;
	They are strong and brave and true;
	But they're always tired of the things that are,
	And they want the strange and new.
	They...

It's been a long time since Rob had a website. Moving places, having new job and life altogether the online bit was left out. Having recently found a very generous freemium service, he sat down and created this space. Hopefuly, this can be a good opportunity for him to share himself, stay in touch with friends and the online world and have some fun doing all that with zero capital. He is also wondering if he should recommend you this service. Best bet is to try it out on one's own website...
